Activity V.1.The construction and maintenance of demonstration infrastructures
The construction and maintenance of the necessary demonstration infrastructures that will assist the transfer and dissemination of the obtained results, as well as the interaction with companies and institutions in the sector and the final users.

Task 49
The construction of at least one pilot plant for the tertiary treatments that have been applied in the development of the project. The Committee for Demonstration Activities will propose the necessary actions/measures to manage the equipment on a pilot scale, which belongs to the research groups, and to promote the participation of the TRAGUA research team in the official aid assessment committees for the acquisition of infrastructures. In this way, the equipment/plant/teams and funds will be made available to undertake the construction of the pilot plants for the required demonstration.

Time period: Ten months.

Task 50
The maintenance of the infrastructures created in the WWTPs that have participated in the programme (Task 24), with the aim of using them for demonstration actions. The Committee for Demonstration Activities will promote the participation of the TRAGUA research team in the official aid assessment committees to generate the necessary funds for the maintenance of the infrastructures created during the development of the programme. In the same way, The Committee for Demonstration Activities, will also be responsible for attaining agreements with those responsible for the management of the WWTPs in such a way that the infrastructures can be used for demonstration activities.

Time period: Ten months.

Activity V.2. The promotion of actions which give the greatest potential to the demonstration activities
The formalisation of agreements with public and private companies to carry out demonstration activities of the obtained results in the project and which help to create a culture based of sensible water use.

Task 51
The creation of a consortium with the WWTPs to carry out demonstration activities of the technologies for recycled urban waters developed in the project. To do this, the constructed pilot plant will be used in the related tasks of the project, or the tertiary treatments will be implemented which the WWTP makes available with the necessary elements to apply the developed treatments in the programme. The formalisation of agreements will be managed by The Committee for Demonstration Activities. The participation in the TRAGUA programme of one institution leader in the management of water such as The Isabel II Channel, and of institutions such as COHEXPHAL S.A. and ASAJA, with a large representation among the cooperatives and businesses in the agricultural sector, will create the necessary synergy to formalise agreements with a significant group of WWTPs.

Time period: Ten months.

Task 52
The maintenance of intensive and extensive agricultural estates with recycled urban water irrigation. The participation in the TRAGUA programme of institutions such as COHEXPHAL S.A. and ASAJA, who have a large representation among the cooperatives and businesses in the agricultural sector, will facilitate the inclusion of estates to the TRAGUA team. This will allow them to carry out the demonstration activities for the utilisation of recycled urban water. The necessary management to formalise the agreements between the TRAGUA team and the owners of the included estates will be carried out by The Committee for Demonstration Activities.

Time period: 10 months.

Task 53

The establishment of Good Agricultural Practice criteria for the use of wastewater where as well as critical points controls, will be the most appropriate uses and forms of use for safe quality production. On this point, as well as the evaluation of food and environmental safety conditions, will be criteria for the production and quality.

Time period: Twelve months

Deliverables: A guide for the reuse of waters in agriculture, including an informative triptych.
