Activity I.1. Management and Coordination of administrative duties.
This activity will allow watching and controlling the appropriate fulfilment of the tasks, milestones and documents according to the estimated form and deadlines, as well as the fulfilment of the project budget.

Task 1
The elaboration of an annual monitoring report of the global project broken down into the different research groups and activities. This report will detail the fulfilment level achieved by each activity and the necessary documentation providing detected non-fulfilments. A file will be constantly updated containing the generated information, meetings and any other information related to the project. These activities will be coordinated with the appropriate Administrations that will be kept permanently updated on this task.
Time period:  This will be done punctually over the five years.
Researchers Involved:  CG y GAE
Milestones: The evaluation of the fulfilment of the project activities.
Deliverable: Five monitoring reports.

Task 2
The elaboration of an economic annual report of the global project broken down into the different research groups. This report will be showed periodically upon the management and coordination committee meetings, during which the annual fulfilment of this report will be approved or measures will be taken to adjust possible problems. These activities will be coordinated with the appropriate Administrations that will be kept permanently updated on this task.

Time period:  This will be done punctually over the five years.
Researchers Involved:  Coordination Management Group
Milestones: The evaluation of the economic management of the project
Deliverable: Five monitoring reports.

Activity I. 2. The activities of the assessment groups and management and coordination committees
In a programme with these characteristics, the coordination activities have a special relevance in its development. The coordination and management activities in the project are continuous in nature permitting suitable interaction between the groups and the information generated. In addition, the evaluations of the assessment groups, in particular the International-external Assessment Committee, will be a key element in taking global project decisions

Task 3
The Management and Coordination Committe will be held with the International Assessment Group an annual meeting, where the progress of the general project lines will be evaluated. This meeting will coincide on at least three occasions with the workshops described in Task 5. The obtained targets and possible modifications and activity improvements will be endorsed in writing where it might be necessary. Furthermore, the External Assessment Group, will be kept regularly informed by means of sending the produced documents and by using a specific section on the TRAGUA web page.

Time period:  This will be done punctually over the five years.
Researchers Involved:  CG y GAE
Milestones: The evaluation of the project from a global perspective.
Deliverable: Five status reports.

Task 4
The Management and Coordination Committe will be held with the internal national assessment group an annual meeting, where the progress of the general project lines will be evaluated. These meetings will be six-monthly during the last two years, where the demonstration activities will be carried out. The obtained targets and possible modifications and activity improvements will be endorsed in writing where it might be necessary, giving special emphasis to the results of the applications that have been done. The components of the internal national assessment group as members of the Programme don’t require specific information and, amongst other activities, their work will be to give their opinions about, and their approval to, the documents to be presented to the external committee. At least five of the seven meetings will be held immediately before the annual meeting described in Task 1 and, therefore, three of these will occur during the holding of the workshops.

Time period:  This will be done punctually over the five years.
Researchers Involved:  CG y GAI
Milestones: Preparation of the evaluation of the global programme by the external committee and to propose general guidelines
Deliverable: Six status reports.

Task 5
Annual meetings will be carried out on the coordination and management committee with the representatives of the 7 established committees (1) The Training and Dissemination Committee, (2) The Demonstration Activities Committee, (3) The Transfer Activities and Scientific Technical Committees. (5) The Treatments Committee, (6) The Control and Evaluation Committee, (7) The Committee for recharging and irrigation, and (8) The Socio-economic Impact Committee.  These meetings will become more frequent (i.e. Six-monthly) at the start of the third year of the project, since the coordination between groups and activities will be a fundamental value in the procurement of the proposed targets during this period. These meetings will serve to evaluate the progress of the project and the adjustments of the proposed targets so as to facilitate the synergy between the different groups. It will also serve to adjust the deficiencies detected. In addition, it will serve to organise the contents that will be analysed in the internal and international committee meetings. They will coincide in time with the meetings described in Task 4.

Time period:  This will be done punctually over the five years.
Researchers Involved: CG and representative members of the groups CA1, CA2, CA3, CC1, CC2, CC3, CC4
Milestones: Evaluation of the programme activities and its coordination.
Deliverable: Eight continuous reports.

Activity I.3.  The creation and maintenance of an Intranet Web Site.
This will be a fundamental coordination instrument for a programme as complex as this proposes to be. Within the website referred to in Task 44 will be the creation of an Intranet.- a “team room”, to which both the programme  researchers and the assessment committees will have access. All of the activities developed in relation to the Programme will be available in real time in the “team room”. In this, any of the generated documents from the programme can be consulted and all of the activities being carried out up to that moment by each of the groups. The organisation of this activity will be run by the management service that the Programme provides..

Task 6
The creation and maintenance of the TRAGUA web site, with a restricted access section, accessible via “team room” access codes, only for TRAGUA participants and assessment groups where the necessary communication can be established, such as the sending of evaluation documents by the interested parties.

Time period:  This will be created in the first six months and will be operative  continuously over the five years.
Researchers Involved: CG y T1, T2. T3, T4, T5, T6, T7, T8, T9, TC10, C1, C2, C3, C4,R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6, R7,E1, E2, E3
Milestones: The transfer of information via a  “team room” TRAGUA  web page.
Deliverable: Everything generated by the research activity.

Activity  I.4. Workshop
As well as the permanent virtual contacts of all the team components through the “team room”, the holding of meetings will be required, in which, among other things, debates regarding the different contents and results of the Programme can take place.
The development of at least two TRAGUA  workshops, spaced at periods to act as coordination vehicles between members

Task 7
Given the interdisciplinary character and size of the research group requested, annual workshops will be organised starting after the first year. Section discussions will be carried out at different tables. The workshop can be used to hold meetings of the Management Coordination Committee and Internal and International Assessment Committees. These events will be an open forum for the interchange of ideas and results, not only between the researchers concerned but also among the other personnel of the research groups involved as well as other interested scientific technical personnel. This will encourage the presentation of results of other national and international related projects with TRAGUA programme, allowing greater vision and evaluation of the results and ideas for possible future activities. This activity will attempt to disseminate the project results internationally, especially in areas with similar characteristics to those of the Mediterranean basin, taking advantage of these event gatherings for dissemination activities in the media. This task will be involved in great extend with the transfer and dissemination activities (Activity IV.2)

Time period:  At least five periods of two days.
Researchers Involved: T1, T2. T3, T4, T5, T6, T7, T8, T9, TC10, C1, C2, C3, C4, R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6, R7,E1, E2, E3, CG, GAE, GAI, CA3 as well as others invited or interested researchers
Milestones: The display and debate of ideas and results of the TRAGUA  project.
Deliverable: 5 books of Abstracts.
